Vast ("the app") is a meditation, breathing and soundscape app for iPhone and Android, published by the developer developer1021. This policy explains how the app handles your information. The short version: the app does not collect, store on a server, sell or share any personal data.

What stays on your device

• Your practice history (dates and lengths of sittings), course progress, sound mix and settings are stored only on your device, in the app's local storage.
• This data is never uploaded by the app. Deleting the app, or using "Erase my journey" in Settings, removes it.
• If your device's own backup (iCloud or Google backup) is turned on, the operating system may include this local data in your personal device backup, under your account and the platform's privacy terms.

No accounts, ads, analytics or tracking

• There is no sign-up or login.
• The app shows no advertising and contains no advertising SDKs.
• The app contains no third-party analytics and does not track you across apps or websites.

Purchases

Vast Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The app receives only a confirmation of what you are entitled to; it never sees your name, email address or payment details. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, the reminder is scheduled locally on your device. No notification server is involved.

Spoken guidance

Spoken prompts are generated on your device using the system's built-in text-to-speech voices. No audio or text is sent anywhere.

Health information

The app is a wellbeing tool, not a medical device, and does not provide medical advice. It does not read from or write to Apple Health or Health Connect.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
